Every year, Chandler, AZ puts up a giant Christmas tree made of tumbleweeds.
|
||
|
|
They make a big show of lighting it too. It's silly, hokey small town stuff --

||
|

despite a [population of nearly 300,000][wiki] -- that I find rather charming.
