+As challenging as 2021 was, there is a lot to be grateful for, a lot to
+celebrate, and a lot to be proud of.
+
+Here's a quick recap.
+
+### January
+
+I started out the year learning how to do a Backside 180 on my skateboard. I
+didn't keep up with skateboarding much this year.
+

+I turned 33 and {{< tess >}} made me a very tasty cake!

+I also started working with a real estate agent on finding a condo in San
+Francisco.
+
+### February
+
+In February I signed up for [Dogbotic's][dogbotic] [Cassette
+Hacking][cassette-hacking] workshop. I highly recommend it if you're interested
+in music or electronics!
+
+### March
+
+- Dipsea Trail hike
+
+### April
+
+Tess and I got appointments on the same day to get our first dose of the Pfizer
+COVID-19 vaccine.
+
+### May
+
+- Second vaccination
+- Closed on my new condo
+
+At the end of the month, I signed up to help set up the [Pink
+Triangle][pink-triangle] on Twin Peaks. It was great to help out with this
+iconic part of Pride Month in San Francisco.
+
+### June
+
+- First time home in a year and a half
+- Anniversary trip with Tess to Guerneville
+
+### July
+
+- That blissful period of six weeks when we thought the pandemic was winding down
+
+### August
+
+- Pottery class
+
+### September
+
+- Oskitone video
+- Japantown getaway
+
+### October
+
+- PNW trip
+- Mexico trip
+
+### November
+
+- Lake Tahoe with Tess, James, & Myke
+- Thanksgiving at home
+
+### December
+
+- Christmas at home with Tess
+
