As challenging as 2021 was, there is a lot to be grateful for, a lot to
celebrate, and a lot to be proud of.

Here's a quick recap.

### January

I started out the year learning how to do a Backside 180 on my skateboard. I
didn't keep up with skateboarding much this year.

I turned 33 and {{< tess >}} made me a very tasty cake!

I also started working with a real estate agent on finding a condo in San
Francisco.

### February

In February I signed up for [Dogbotic's][dogbotic] [Cassette
Hacking][cassette-hacking] workshop. I highly recommend it if you're interested
in music or electronics!

### March

- Dipsea Trail hike

### April

Tess and I got appointments on the same day to get our first dose of the Pfizer
COVID-19 vaccine.

### May

- Second vaccination
- Closed on my new condo

At the end of the month, I signed up to help set up the [Pink
Triangle][pink-triangle] on Twin Peaks. It was great to help out with this
iconic part of Pride Month in San Francisco.

### June

- First time home in a year and a half
- Anniversary trip with Tess to Guerneville

### July

- That blissful period of six weeks when we thought the pandemic was winding down

### August

- Pottery class

### September

- Oskitone video
- Japantown getaway

### October

- PNW trip
- Mexico trip

### November

- Lake Tahoe with Tess, James, & Myke
- Thanksgiving at home

### December

- Christmas at home with Tess
