In late July, I traveled with {{< tess >}} to London. I was tagging along on a work trip of hers, and it was the first time I had traveled abroad since 2015.

We landed in London on Saturday. We stayed in a hotel facing Russell Square that turned out to be a great location for all of the things we wanted to do. It happened to be only a couple blocks from Gay's The Word, one of the only if not the only LGBTQIA+ bookshops in London.

After a week in London, we went to [Greece]({{< ref "blog/2022/08/hellas" >}}). It was the second week of vacation for me, and a full week of vacation for her.
