Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a.k.a. TDoR. According to translivesmatter.info, 427 trans people were killed or committed suicide in 2024. This is a worldwide tragedy.
With the spectre of political violence looming large in the US, and right wing politicians doubling down on attacking trans people -- kids and adults alike -- this feels like a particularly scary time to be trans.
